Bhagavad Gita 220226

Bhagavad Gita

Chapter 3: (Karma Yoga)
Krishna said:

9 Except that for the sacrifices
All other actions binds to world.
Hence to free from bondage do -
Actions as sacrifice oh Kawntheya!

10
Creating the mankind with sacrifice
Creator declared in the beginning
Sacrifice will be thy way to prosper
It is the milk-cow of thy desires too.

All actions are binding men as Karma. However, actions done as sacrifices do not bind, as it is offering to God. Further, it says that, at the time of creation the Creator declared; men do sacrifice to God. God's in return will bless you with all wealth. Thus sacrifices are the milk- cow,  giver of desires.

Oh Lord, we will do our actions desireles and selflessly as sacrifices. Bless us.

Bhagavad Gita 220224

Bhagavad Gita
Chapter 3: (Karma Yoga)
Krishna said:
5 Because none can remain
Actionless even for a second,
But all beings do helplessly
Act by own natural instinct.
6 Organs of actions restricted, yet;
Mind engaged on fondling objects
Such one ever will remain a stupid
And can only be called a hypocrite.

The nature is set such that none can sit idle or inactive. All beings do work, at least for their survival as per natural instinct. However, a man who restrict his organs from objects; yet ponder sensual desires, is a hypocrite. Such stupid will never gain wisdom or liberation.
Let us pray, Oh Lord, let us be restrained; lead us to liberation.

Bhagavad Gita 220220

Bhagavad Gita

Chapter 3: (Karma Yoga)
1 Arjuna said:
If greater is wisdom
In option to action
Why I am then deputed
For duty so terrible?
2 Listening to thy speech perplexing
My mind is much confused.
Hence tell me the selected one
By which I gain sure perfection.

Krishna explained the Sankhya Yoga to Arjuna; that we have seen in the second chapter. Now Arjuna raises his doubts. Krishna, you said me to do action- duty. However at the same time you applaud on wisdom. If wisdom is good, why am I compelled to do this war of destruction ?

Listening to your dialogue, I am confused about my duty. So tell me the selected one that one will deliver the best out of me.

A confused soul have no decision. So reign our mind oh Lord, bless us.

Bhagavad Gita 220219

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna says:

72 This Brahmic state oh Partha
Who ever attains in this stage
Even if at the end of his life
Attains supreme Brahmic Bliss.

Thus Shimad Bhagavathgithopanishad’s
Supreme Doctrine Yoga Science
Shrikrishna - Arjuna dialogue
Sankhya Yoga The Second Chapter.

Oh Partha, those whose knowledge is perfect, he attains Brahmic Bliss. Once one attains this state of mind, will never drop from that. God is the power that direct all. Understanding it do noble duties for the sake of society. Thus the dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna from Bhagavad Gita second chapter ends.

Mamav seva is Madhav seva. Let us pray Lord, make us your dear devotees.

Bhagavad Gita 220218

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna says:

70 Intakes all streams, though full;
Ocean remains yet unchanged
Lust enters all, restrained but;
Lust of the lusty never quench.

71 Man if do as desireless
Leaving desire, ego, hate;
And all longings for lust then
He attains peace absolute.

Lust effects all men similarly. However a Restrained controls it. A lusty who always think of senses can never escape from lusts. Like an ocean which intake all rivers; yet remaining unchanged. When man act with wisdom, not with desires, ego or hatred then there will be peace. Absolute peace is Evey individuals duty; for which each should act with wisdom and restrain.

All of us may take oath to act with senses not as sensual. Hare Krishna

Bhagavad Gita 220317

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna says:

67 When lust concerned senses
Drive the mind like a boat it -
Drift away by wind a while
Lust conquered, steers his mind.

68 Therefore oh Mighty Armed
That who eliminate always
Organs from all objects
His knowledge is perfect.

69 When it is night for all beings
Then keep awake the restrained
When all beings are awake
That is night cease the sage.

The man who commands his mind, his knowledge will be perfect. Who ever want for sensual desire, he will meet with disaster. It is why a saint keep vigilant when all around him is awake.

We should be like that sage, vigilant against sensual desires, so that our wisdom becomes perfect.

Bhagavad Gita 220215

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna says:

62 For men pondered on objects
Desire geminates in his mind.
Lust arises from grown desires
And anger spurt when lust is burst.

63 Anger cause men delusion
Delusion cause sluggishness;
Sluggishness cause stupidity
And stupidity cause the doom.

64 If habits free from lust and hate,
Though he moves among objects,
Self oriented and self controlled.
Happy he lives ever in peace.

Men who think about sensual pleasures, desire arise in their minds. When the desires are not satisfied then anger arise. Anger make men deluded, where as delusion cause sluggishness. Ultimately sluggishness lead to stupidity and doom.

So man must avoid desires and lust. Habits free from lust and hatred, he live happily. Even if such one move among objects he is not effected by it.

So today let us pray to God, to make us restrained and lustless.

Bhagavad Gita 220210

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

55 The Blessed Lord said:
When desires are slaughtered
Then steering mind well Partha !
With in the self he satisfies
Say his wisdom is steady.

56 Mind buoyant in sorrow and
Kept detached from rejoicings;
Jealousy, fear, lust and anger;
Such steady minded is a sage.

Krishna  explained about a man of  steady wisdom. He rejected all selfish desires,  act with wisdom and remain iin the self.. He do not cheer in ahappiness nor becomes sad. He keeps  away from duality. Such one is a saint and Yogi.

Let us pray, Lorda to make  us Yogis.

Bhagavad Gita 220214

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna says:

61 Sit steady with mind centered
Only on me with restrained sense.
For restrained whose senses are
Steady becomes his wisdom too.

62 For men pondered on objects
Desire geminates in his mind.
Lust arises from grown desires
And anger spurt when lust is burst.

Established mind is a concentrated mind. Concentration is gained by pegging the mind to an object, by meditation. Let the object be Devin and powerful. So centre mind on the supreme lord. Wisdom stays with a Restrained sense. Men who think of lusty objects, desire arise in his mind. Desire creates lust in mind. When lust is not satisfied, anger arises in mind.

Today let us pray to God to make our wisdom steady, free from lusts.

Bhagavad Gita 220213

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna says:

59 Man who is abstinent,
Turns away from objects,
When he see the supreme self
His balance lust also leaves.

60 Though he be the hard striving,
The turbulent senses do try -
To shatter his mind by force then
Even the wisest loose Oh Kawntheya.

The man who is established in the self, loses his interest in worldly objects. Furthermore, when he meets the supreme self; then on he loses his remaining lusts. Thus the identity of a realised man is that he remains inert to lusts, but becomes a person of unconditional love.

It's a fact that a hard striving man in the path of self- realisation is tested severely. The turbulent mind blows so strong that the wisest man also loses.

It's the faith in God that carries us across the ocean of lust successfully.

So today let us pray to God, protect our minds in the path of realisation.

Bhagavad Gita 220211

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna says:

57 All that cause good or bad -
Either applauded or abused
That who stays unaffected
Say his wisdom is perfect.

58 Like a tortoise withdraws itself -
Its limbs in from all around; thus -
who withdraw senses from all objects
Then say his wisdom is steady.

Krishna explains how a perfect wise person is. He will not be affected with abuse or admiration. The wise protect himself from the waring senses like a tortoise. A man who withdraws his sense from luring senses, his wisdom is steady and perfect.

Oh Lord, we pray to make our wisdom perfect.

Bhagavad Gita 220209

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna said:

53 Because epics puzzled you,
But when you reach inertia;
With composed, steady mind;
Know then you gained Yoga.

54 Arjuna said:
Oh Kesava, say how can I know
An established in supreme self ?
How they speak how respond ?
How they move how they rest ?

The problem everyone faces is the misunderstanding of the old sayings. So, ignore them, think and decide things with a balanced mind.  Steadiness of mind is yoga. Hearing this Arjuna  asked Krishna to know the identity of a man established in the supreme soul. We can hear it from Krishna next.

Let us pray to Lord for his blessings.

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna said:

51 Work always with wisdom,
Abandon the lust for wage.
Free life from bondage and -
Thus man reach perfection.

52 When your mind turns
Away from mired lusts;
Then you become indifferent,
To that heard and to be heard.

Krishna says: Oh Arjuna, work with wisdom, not with wishes. Quit the quench for wage or want. Thus free life from bondages. Then you reach perfection. When your mind becomes averted from lust and wants, then you will be liberated, and indifferent to external subjects.

Control of mind and it's activities is yoga. Lord bless us to master our mind.

Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad Gita
CH -II Yoga of Knowledge
(Sankhya Yoga)

Krishna said:

49 Keep away from action
Fruit motived and cheap,
Seek refuge in wisdom
For wisdom - yoga, is action.

50 With wisdom, quit it here
Both deeds good and bad.
Hence with yoga arise, Partha
For the skill in action is Yoga.

Krishna says to Arjuna, keep away from mean and selfish motived actions. Stay with wisdom. Because yoga of wisdom is action.

Arjuna, leave all deads that you think is good or bad, with refuge in yoga. Just do your duty, because action abided by duty is yoga. Oh Lord,

Bless us to be Yogis.
