Bhagavat Gita
Ch : VI Yoga of Meditation
(Atmasamyama Yoga)
Krishna said:
9 To Kith and kin or servants
Indifferent to foe or friends
To a sinner or to a saint as well
Who behave in common, he excels.
10 Yogi steadily introspecting
Immersed mind in solitude
Controlling the self alone can
Free himself greedless desire-less.
Krishna says: to attain the supreme knowledge, one should be indifferent to his kith and kin. He treats servants, foe and friends in the same plane. He behave equally to a sinner and a Saint; such Yogi excels in Yoga. The Yogi who meditates and introspects regularly, controlling his emotions, greedless and desireles; only such Yogi can attain supreme reach liberation.
Oh Lord, bless us with knowledge and liberate us. Hare Krishna
