Bhagavat Gita
Ch : VI Yoga of Meditation
(Atmasamyama Yoga)
Krishna said:
19 The lamp do not flicker
Kept in a windless place.
Similar is the controlled minded -
Those united in the self with Yoga.
20 When mind is content with
Restrain by practice of Yoga
And when find soul by self
Then he satisfies in the self.
Krishna says, the mind controled by Yoga is steady like a lamp kept in a windless place. Mind will not agitate in a Yogi who have a command on his mind. The control of mind is done through practice of Yama and Niyama, the restrain prescribed for Yoga; alongwith meditation. Which leads the mind to the supreme soul within. When the Yogi meet his soul which is within, equally in all beings (without), then the Yogi starts to enjoy the supreme Bliss. This is because the nature of self is purely Bliss.
The heaven is not in the high sky. It is within. To gain the pleasure of heaven we have to relinquish outer worldly pleasures. Then a greater joy and satisfaction will follow. For him happyness will be everywhere. Are you ready for the pursuit of bliss. Meditation is your key.
